brake light question

Does anyone know where i can purchase the 1157 brake light bulb with the red coating on it for my clear lens? I found amber but i think it has to be red.

No but somewhere on Ebay you can buy the 1157 "spinning" led's for that application...the led's are red and spin continuosly and flash when the brake is applied..there are no external electronics to make them do what they do as whatever is there is self contained in the base......
I like mine alot.......perhaps a little blingy though....

Shawn, I believe they are illegal everywhere, but look at all the Hondas with them! In bright sunlight, you can't even tell if the guy is on the brakes or not! So much for arbitrary law enforcement!!

Ibrahim,Have you ever looked into colored gauge bulbs?I have seen a few max's with blue or red bulbs in the gauges,It looks very good.I'd like to make mine red.

Yeah, they would look cool, but for now I am stuck trying to fit the v-rod headlight to my max, this site has very reasonable HID kits too.
man once you get the mod bug it seems to continue forever$$$$
