HERE IT IS & IT WAS A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS TO PULL THIS OFF ! ... BUT I THINK WELL WORTH IT ! .. :punk: ... FROM LEFT TO RIGHT #24XHP - #74X - #74XHP - #74XHP3 , YOU CAN SEE ALL OF THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE BULBS ! ... BULB #74XHP3 IS THE ONLY BULB THAT ACTUALLY PROJECTS LIGHT FROM THE TOP & FROM TWO SIDES ! ... THEY ARE THE 4 BULBS THAT I USED !

Good demonstration Tim! Very helpful to see the different light patterns that each bulb produces.

THANKS " BOB " , LOOKING AT THEM SIDE BY SIDE , I WAS SHOCKED AT HOW DIM THE #74X BULB IS COMPARED TO THE OTHERS !

Nice work Timmy!! Well thought out and executed! :clapping:

And proves what I've known for years.....anytime you get 4 or 5 bulbs together there is bound to be a couple of dim ones in the bunch!! :whistlin:

Yo Tim this is great! Do you have a picture or drawing of which bulb you used where in both the speedo and the temp/tach pod?

I guess this helped in getting an even light in all of them? Any pic of your clocks at night now?

cheers

I used the #74xhp3 in all of my gauges ! ... Thats the far right bulb that shoots light in 3 directions !

Doesn't that make a difference in brightness at night between the speedo, tach and temp gauge?

Picture of your setup now in the dark? :clapping:
ACTUALLY THEY ALL LOOK GREAT , THESE PICTURES DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO DOING THEM JUSTICE , YOU NEED TO SEE THEM IN PERSON & THE COLOR IS A LOT MORE CONSISTENT THEN IT LOOKS LIKE IN THESE PICTURES ! .. :punk:

I used the 74XHP in the speedo and the 74XHP3's in the gauges. Mine are great. You should do the HID headlight mod too while your at it now.

Hell yeah!! Little dick-weed is directly responsible for the Nitrous Oxide mod!!

He also infected Sallymax with the 'swingarm pivot cap mod'....although that was was a very tasteful and low cost mod and I applaud him on that one! :biglaugh:
