Did this mod today, it was very easy & cheap with awesome results.

Yes it is cool, but haven't rode yet still working on bike. Painting motor tomorrow. Notch & braced swingarm Monday. 05 forks with progressive springs next weekend & waiting for parts from chrome shop.

Very easy to do there is a step by step thread for it, but if you have a manual it will show you how to take speedo apart. I went with blue to go with my accent lighting. I've seen pic with red, & green. It's looks awesome with either color. I'll see if I can find the tread and post it for you.
