I am having trouble with fuel coming out of the top of my carbs mostly out of the main air jets. The bike has 4k miles but sat for about 8 years with no storage preparation. It will run ok for a while and then start flooding again. I have dissassembled and cleaned the carbs multiple times and replaced the needles with new oem parts. I inquired on this forum about replacing the needle seats but nobody replied that had ever changed them so that must not be a common problem. Has anybody had to change the seats? Is there a float test that can be done? I have successfully rebuilt many carbs in the past including vmax carbs but these have me stumped.The float heights have been set using accepted methods found on this site.
