If I go this route I know some members will rebuild your carbs if you send the carbs to them . Didn’t know who does this and the price they get for this service ? Post on this ad or pm me either way (price and carb service you offer) 1996 Vmax and Thanks for looking -

I have done business with both of these members and they both offer great service and a fast turnaround. They also have new and used parts. Dannymax specializes in carburetors while Sean will do anything having to do with the bike.

Kyle is of course another alternative, I forgot to mention him. He's another member whom I've used, for things VMax.

My apologies for neglecting to mention you. I've always thought of you as the Parts Warehouse more than the labor for hire market.
No problem I'm the painter , mechanic , shipper etc.lol my garage usually stays pretty full between paint work and mechanic work.

Does anyone sell jet block plugs for a gen 1 or know where I can purchase some?

Like anything else, prices have increased, over time. 'Ridiculous' is the cost of an oil change on an exotic sportscar, or the tires for one. Then again, 'pay to play.' At least you can still get parts for most things on a VMax Generation 1, last manufactured 17 years ago, which in and of itself, is a near-miracle. What will kill the market for the Gen. 1 is when Yamaha makes 'obsolete' the parts catalog, except for consumable things like brake pads and batteries, tires and brake fluid and coolant.
