Typically it occurs in the midrange, between 4-6k RPM. However, it comes and goes, and I've definitely noticed a correlation between the hesitation appearing and a recent fill-up.
It's kind of hard to describe. I'll be cruising at 70, which is ~4300 RPM. I slightly roll on the gas, and nothing happens. No bog, no stumble, but no acceleration. Roll a bit more, still nothing. Finally on a bit more throttle it suddenly "takes off" and responds to what is usually now about 3/4 throttle. Sometimes setting the t-boost to 3k(so it's open on the highway) covers up the problem, sometimes not.
Like I said, sometimes it's perfectly fine, so I don't think it's a problem with the bike. I've tried carb cleaning, different octanes(I usually run regular 87), and now sync'ing the carbs. None of those had any appreciable difference.
I might have to start carrying a little flask of sea-foam with me under the seat, since that always seems to clear up the hesitation almost instantly. Pisses me off that fuel quality around here is so low.
