The black is the most durable color. There is a small charge ($50) to strip the chrome before recoating (which is done inside and out).

I didn't know the old chrome could be stripped.:shot:

Im leaning toward the chrome. With regular polishing. How long would the kerker chrome look good?
 
Depends on how well it's tuned. Lean will make it run hotter and turn the entry gold to blue. I've had the entire header glowing before which kills the reflectiveness and makes it blue to brown (but that's extreme stuff).

We could rechrome the header but I want to say it's about $3 per inch of pipe.
