Clean bike in NOVA $1500

I just went and looked at this guy's bike tonight. Somebody take him the $1500 he's asking for and get it to your house. It needs steering head bearings tightened, a left turn signal bulb, and the starter switch sprayed with something to keep it from sticking.

He's a good guy. It ran great. He's not going to sell for less than $1500, and it's worth more than that. Very clean. Probably had a couple tipovers in the garage on both sides before he got it. Minor scratches on the outside of both pipes.

Wouldn't have stopped me, but I don't really need another bike/want to dump more cash into something that's not a house fund right now.

He thought it was a 97, but I didn't think there were black pipes that year. I forgot how to decode the vin anyway.

Hard to tell from the pics looks like the pre 96 oil filter but I thought the same about the exhaust being a 96 thing. Couldn't see a good angle for a helmet lock.

It had a k&n regular oil filter. 2nd gear felt good. I didn't buy it. That's why I posted it here. It still had honda polish overspray on it. He takes good care of it.

That looks like a '97 vmax thats silver with black exhaust.
