Clutch Confusion

I have recently bought my first Vmax. I live in the Philippines and the bike was imported here from the U.S. I was trying to verify the age of the bike, so I was looking at some information online. I noticed that on the 'specs' for some of the older models it says they have a 'cable clutch' ? I thought that all Vmax models have always had a hydraulic clutch? right or wrong?

Yep, all of the Gen 1 Vmax's have a hydraulic clutch.

Yes, all US model VMax's had hydraulic brakes & clutches.

Check the spec tag on the steering neck, the 'date of manufacture' is on there.

Careful not to mix up info for the Vmax snowmobiles as well (they also have Marine Vmax engines)
