Hey all,
Ordered a Barnett Clutch kit that comes in tomorrow. Never rebuilt one before, does anyone have a link to rebuild instructions? I dug around on here but couldn't find one. Also, I downloaded the repair manual off of vmaxoutlaw.com, but didn't see a section in it for rebuilding the clutch. Anyways, if you have any insight I would appreciate it!

Main questions:
1.) do i need to have a puller of some sort?
2.) How many hours for a novice?
3.) Anyone have a link with pics?
4.) Do I have to "break in" the barnett kevlar clutch before riding hard? (if so how long is the break in period?)
Thanks all,
Joe

look up the Double D or DD mod. With the Barnett Clutch mod you'll do everything like what is done for the DD, except use the barnet plate instead of the two stock springs. i have saved off some links. standby....

Great links to view first, plus the directions. Damon F's video is also highly recommended. It's got just about everything you'll ever want to know about the engine and clutch.I'm not sure if he's still selling them. They were on e-bay for a while.
I can't say re. Barnett products, I've always used EOM. Liking the DD mod though. Let us know how you like it when done, k?
Time? Depends on you're tools and skills. 1-2 hrs for the first time? Are you using the original steels? I recommend media blasting, or at least a good scrubbing with scotch brite. The second time you do it will be a breeze.
