coil over plugs

FYI, people who don't use the proper resistance resistors on their stick coils (COP-coil over plug) and with their analog 1985-'89 ignition boxes, have reported failures of their ignition boxes. One theory is that the OEM ignition boxes for the 5-wire/2 pick-up coils (an easy way to tell them apart from the 1990-'07 ignition boxes, which use one pick-up coil having 2 wires) are sensitive to having the same resistance as stock. Owners have reported failures of the OEM ignition boxes.

Not sure if Sean Morley has any left but stock coils rarely go bad . If they have cracks it's just the outer case and does not hurt anything usually new plug caps and wires is all you need.
Yep. Some people use that as a selling point. You have cracks in your coils, so you need to change them.
