Hello members, I have a 1986 max I have been trying to resurrect this winter after it’s been in active for about 12 years. The latest challenge is connecting rods at the small end. Seems there is excessive play and I would like to know if it’s worth having bushings installed instead of replacing the rods. Crank and crank ends are in great condition. Typical oring failure and the oil pump screen plug about 2/3 with gasket sealer.
