Ok, I discovered that all four of my coils were cracked. I decided to go ahead with the COP mod for simplicity sake, and you just can't beat the price. I had previously installed a Tboost set-up and it worked fine with the stock coils. After installing COPs, it would either come on at 7k or not at all. I just figured that the two would not work together, so I removed the Tboost completely. Now, Vboost comes on at about 7k. I really want it at least to work at the stock 6k opening point, if not sooner. I remember having read a thread dealing with this specifically, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know what's going on here, or have a link to more info?

Thanks
Dusty

Did you get a COPs wiring harness with resistors in it?

I had the same prob as you - I installed COPs (no resistors) first and then added Tboost and it would come on at 9000 instead of 3000, but the 6000 seemed to work ok (and off as well of course).

I think because the COPs have a slightly lower resistance it throws the vboost controller off, so adding the resistors should fix it. Ask Gannon here.. (88vmx12)
