Corbin Seats - Yay or Nay?

I like my Corbin saddle. Have one on my other old,slow,black bike( ZX11 )

Hard is good!!!:

People used to complain of about the older BMW ( auto) seat as too hard untill they did a few hours on them.

I had a Corbin ....don't miss it one damn bit.My Morley seat kicks ass (not really but you know what I mean). A blown disc and 50 extra pounds of BS on my frame and I can ride the Topeka run and still walk afterwards.And thats with the rearsets!

I'd almost trade straight up for a stock seat with hard ware for my Corbin.

Which Corbin do you have, the older style, or the newer one? I'm kind of curious what the differences are between the old and new Corbins are?

The older one has the Velcro flap and the newer ones have a plug so you can use the new fume extraction nozzles with it.:icon_rolleyes: Either way the Corbin weighs probably 20 pounds more than stock!:surprise:

Ok, I was under the impression that the actual shape of the seats were different, it's only the difference between a flap, and a plug? Thanks for the info!

Sorry I didn't see this post. My Corbin seat is the plug style.

Also the old one is made with a softer foam, it is a little squishy/spongey something similar to the stock seat. The new one is a more firm, they use a spray type foam.
