Countdown on Star Site-New Vmax teaser

Hey all. Long time Lurker first time Poster of 1 one year old max. You guys helped me decide on the Max. But on to the countdown.
Two things.
1. Funny how the V-max is also back on the front page and not hidden under the 07 models like it for 08.
2. I ask a dealer about the countdown and he said "No idea but June is when new models come out for them." So :confused2:.

I would be really surprised if June 4th they were unavailing a new bike,although I can see them adding the new max to the 09 lineup but would not be available till next fall. Then again how many gears do you hear on the sound bite? 5

That has to be the new Max. I can't see them hyping another V-Twin cruiser with a countdown. That thing sounds great!

Manufacturers do early release on bikes. In in 1992 I bought the 93 CBR 900RR it was a 93 model that was released in summer of 92. it's possible

Definitely a key, especially since they use the word "key" in the intro. it's one of those electronic theft prevention keys. Must fit onto something centered on the bike , like in the center top of a faux tank to look like gas cap. This new bike is not going to be cheap!

Interesting thing I noticed is that when you put cursor over the model list on the left, only one with a pic pop-up is the might Max.

I think they are using the same info we all have and just choosing to make a bet they are right........I don't think Yamaha is telling ANYONE what this is...........Heads will roll at Yamaha if someone leaked it, especially since they have made such a huge effort to stop the flow of info on it.....
