Greeting From VA,
I write this post with heavy heart and an optimistic outlook. Been saving for a long time to buy my beautiful 2007 VMAx 4 months ago. I have owned many bikes and I can tell you that this is the one for me. There is truly nothing like it and is literally everything i can ask for in a two wheeled machine. That being said, about 2 months into riding I took a turn a little hot and the front washed out while leaning. I am sure I made some mistake but honestly it happened so fast that i could not tell you what it was. Before i knew it, i was planted face first in the pavement sliding on the road then dirt. Lets just say I am fortunate in many ways. At this point i wish to thank my carbon fiber Icon helmet and full armor Vanson jacket. I walked away with a few bruises and a skinned knee. I already ordered some parts starting with the motor, I figured I would get it running before I move forward with the front suspension. I would like to upgrade where i can, I have the whole winter and would like to see this bike more customized to my taste and maybe even perform a bit better if possible.
Any Suggestions?
Thank you in advance for your insight,
Rick (that guy)
