Crashed Max, Down But Not Out

pipes are plenty strong enough. what kind of pipes do you have?

Right now they are just stock pipes. Can they support the weight of the whole bike?

shouldn't be an issue. i've done it plenty of times on my single walled aftermarket ones and i think tons of guys have done it on their stock ones as well.

Stock pipes will hold up until you're ready to change the mufflers or install a new exhaust system.

I am having some trouble removing the crankcase. I cant find a step by step in the manual or anywhere else. Also, when I re install it, do I need to treat the gasket with anything?

Sorry to see the Max busted up. Good luck putting it back together.

I messed up my Max last year but ended up shattering my left arm. I might put her back together one day...
