Got a ?
Seeking some advice about creating custom maps that give turn by turn directions on your cell phone? I currently use a Motorola Droid Razor with Verizon service.
My cell phone connects to my blue tooth interphone device which runs though my helmet speakers to get music, navigation, and phone calls. The navigation feature through goggle maps works fine; however; it will not allow you to follow a custom created map through back roads or alternative routes that are not the shortest or fastest way to get there.
So basically, I would like to develop a personal map on my home computer and either download to my cell phone or have software on my cell phone to connect to the site I created the ride on. Then I can get voice and map instruction just like the standard GPS gives you on turn by turn.
See below site links that will gives you a prospective of what I am taking about:

I cannot believe this technology is not available, if not someone is going to make a mint when they develop the software.
