Yes, I'm lost. If you ever think I claimed 98% efficiency between the crank and rear wheel because it was chain drive, you are wrong.

I said chain drives are typically 98% efficient and I don't waver from that statement. They are more efficient than shaft drives which might be 92%+
All approximate of course.
