woah woah woah, id hate to steal this guys business but i have a plotter myself, and can make just about anything.

i actually made decals for my car and it showed up in the newspaper.

just give me a jpeg of what you want and ill see if i have the color.

id have to look at my colors but im sure i can get about anything.

racing stripes, flames, decals, sayings, stuff like that.

its nice because if you get bored with it you can peel them off.

i have one color thats clear, and when you put it on paint in the sun you can see it.

those pictures are maybe 8 months after i put them on. they would have lasted longer if i knew how to put them on back then, use soapy water and a hair dryer, i bet theyd last a couple years on a car. they went through car washes, indiana winter, rain, sleet, whatever, i never even thought about them. i eventually pulled them off to put flame ones on but never got around to it, the only ones coming off were the ones wrapped around where the body on the car curves, they air bubbled where the creases were so i pulled them off. in the second pic theres one where i cut a piece off.

the mad tech letters and information on my rear windows, are still on. theyve been on for... 17 months? and are still on super tight. i expect them to last another year at least.

on a bike thats kept in a garage i bet theyd last til you peeled them off.

and let me explain why the doors are open with a fan blowing in, i left it outside for 3 days with the windows down.... its indiana so obviously it rains everyday. i felt like a tard

the bottom picture is the ghost vinyl, i couldnt believe how many compliments it got, it lasted til i peeled it off to get the tank repainted. if you use a hairdryer to secure them i bet theyd last forever on a bike

Mate , i hope thats not a pic of YOUR toilet .

Some nice ideas tho , i always wanted something to do with the Vmax to go on the inside of my mini windsheild but havent come up with any decent ideas yet :ummm:

Mattness......

You may have changed my whole direction on my paint job......

THANKS A LOT!!!!!!:bang head:

I'll be in touch:eusa_dance:

the thing is, you can get your bike painted one nice color you like, then experiment with different color stripes,
if you get bored with the color or size just peel em off, order new ones for what? $10-15 instead of $150 for paint thats permanent and will fade over time anyway

Can you clearcoat over the vinyl???

Can you wax it???

My mind is going in a whole new direction......Dammit:damn angry:

I got this from a guy on ebay that goes by the store "Mysterious Designs". He has a ton of pre-made stickers up, but he made me this custom Vmax one for $12 from just a .jpg I provided.

I had him put "Ride the Legend" underneath it, but again, you could put whatever you want, maybe your forum username? You can get it in any size or color you want.

He's in Canada so the shipping to the States took a while(like 8 or 9 mailing days), but he shipped them within about 2 from the time I ordered.

If there's some interest I could contact him about maybe getting a forum/volume discount.

sweet sticker, gotta order me up some.

OK so now we have our resident vinyl cutter...

You can totally clear over vinyl and wax it. Most car decals are vinyl and a lot of bikes have cleared over decals. (like the "Suzuki" on my SV1000S tank)

Hell the '05 to '07 had a HUGE sticker cleared over on the faux tank cover.

Received my Order...Very Nice quality. Fast shipping...whole deal was Cheap..Spent more on a bad lunch than these cool ass window decals.

The only problem with "Ride the Legend" is I'm married now and a lot of ladies will get jealous i I still advertise.

ha ha I almost spit out my coffee I was drinking when I read that! Made me laugh:rofl_200:

I ordered mine back on Oct 23 and still don't have it. This guy is slow!!! I emailed him last week inquiring where it is and he said "don't worry, it's on the way"
He must deliver them on the Pony Express.

you can always blackmail him lol

"im filing a police report dude!!"

I think mine took about 10-12 mailing days, sent via super snail mail to just across the Canadian border(Potsdam NY). Since you're in FL it's got to go a lot farther. He certainly doesn't spring for anything but the absolute slowest international mail. Once it transfers from Canadian post to the USPS, it goes in the third-class mail bin and they'll deliver it whenever they feel like it, if they feel like it.

Mine got searched by customs, it envelope had obviously been re-taped shut and there was a scribbled out "Wachovia" stamp on it.

He's obviously a reputable guy(said he shipped mine about 2 days after I ordered), just the shipping took for-friggen-ever.

Threatening ebay sellers about shipping issues just pisses everybody off...don't do it. I ran an eBay store (Schroon Lake Marina) for my summer job and of course I always took the heat for USPS's mess ups. People generally seem to expect things within a week. If it doesn't arrive by then (even if the quoted shipping time was longer), they get bitchy and start threatening to report fraud and/or demanding refunds. Then the item shows up a couple days later, and they just go away---never once got an apology.
