i just noticed i guess not. doing some quick math, that would equate to what a roughly 10mm (to be on the safe side) smaller circumference, right? there def isn't 10mm of room left where the bracket meets.
/QUOTE]

How do you mean 10mm? Old forks were 41mm, new ones are 43mm, that should mean a difference of 2mm, right? Are you talking about the forks bracket?

The other link you found seems to be for the right model, and about $200 too, so that's pretty good. Worth a shot for sure..

sorry thought the old ones were 40mm.

circumference is pi * diameter right? so 40mm x (~3) (for arguments sake) is 120mm

43mm x ~3 is 129mm so 9mm.

however now its more like 5-6mm difference, which i don't think still is available and makes sense there is a different model #

The only thing I don't like about this one is the way it pokes out of the side..

I've seen others (hyperpro?) that live neatly nested between the upper triple tree and the gauges pod. I wonder if the Shindy could be mounted like that?

i personally like the sideways look. there are cheaper dampers online than shindy if u could make the brackets. i think it could be done. it'd need some R&D tho.

I've change my bearings (yamaha), balanced the front tire and changed the fork fluids for some motul... got little better, but still can't go past 125 mph without some wooble. I just stopped trying! usually when I'm trying to stop the bike after reaching high speed the wobble is intense. The whole bike shakes, almols like when a big truck passes by, but the front tire not... i guess it's just bad aerodynamics now

Make certain sure your back tire is in good shape and BALANCED. I've had 1/2 worn Dunlop Qualifiers on the back cause this, and having it re-balanced or just replaced fixed the problem.

And question: how You were tighted those bearings?
This is very important.

Its not normal.
I've hit 260kmh on v-max and no wobbles.

Check the Morley Muscle section for Seans videos. Theres one with bearings there.
