really thinking that my first investment will be stock pipes the dealer i bought from put them on because the were cheap then i can put the center stand back on

you should be able to still pop the center stand on for maintenance work, which is all you should need it for. i ike having mine available at all times tho.

I've found out that Vmaxes like to sink into the hot asphalt in the summertime, when they are parked on the side stand. Plus, I find myself having to park on the dirt or grassy places sometimes. Basically, having the center stand on the Vmax at all times, isn't a bad thing, just my cents worth.

i'm not gonna aruge with you, i love having it. but a small metal disk would help that issue too eh?

mine were older than the bike (1997) and hard as ****.
