The "fair opportunity" will always be exploited by the person or persons willing to work harder and smarter. They invariably believe that since the took the risk they should reap the rewards. On a larger scale, given the complete legitimation of every view as held by it own adherents, why should one nation think it has the right to interfere with the running of another. If, for example, one country hold the idea that the systematic elimination of a whole race would benifitial, how can we justify opposing them. Just as we have no right to classify any one who actively works towards the elimination of our way of life as illegitimate nor protect ourselves by eliminating theirs.

Well what I would say that what I am..is rather old fashioned. I do believe that if I work hard, and pay my dues, then I should benefit from that work. Now that is within the framework to not break any laws and to not go against my moral compass. I do not believe in giving someone a free ride...I do believe in helping people, but so in turn, I believe that in turn, that person should pass that forward and help out someone else. If you are constantly having to help the same people...with the same problems, then that person is not a contributing member of society.

I do believe that government tries to step in, and be everything to to everyone. Unfortunately government is made up of people...and people are susceptible to corruption.

I do believe that in the end, we will all be judged for our actions and deeds, by whatever deities that we hold dear.

I do believe that people should be treated by their deeds and actions, not by the color of their skin.

I believe that i am responsible for myself and my family. It is my job to provide for them, to teach them right from wrong, and until they are an adult, I am still responsible for their actions as well.

Just my thoughts.
