No no no. You cant just calculate this
I think on a Dyno Torque and RPM are the only measured values, 5252 is a constant value, HP is calculated from those measured values...:ummm:
HP = Torque x RPM / 5252
But rearranging the formula, and say you told me what the calcualted HP and RPM it was measured at, and for some reason you would not tell me the measured TQ, one should be able to calculate the TQ........:biglaugh:
TQ = HP x 5252 / RPM
But, once again I alway thought that if TQ and HP don't cross on the graph at 5252 rPM it's a bogus sheet?? Or is that dependent on graph scaling??
Nevermind, I just realized that graph is Nm of torque, not Lb/Ft, I don't know what the rules on "graph crossing" are on that.............
But 1 Nm = 0.7376 ft/Lb
And 1Ft/Lb = 1.3558 Nm
If that graph is in Nm wouldn't the HP likely be in PS/Metric?
Although PS and Imperial HP are "almost" identical anyway....
