Electric oil pressure gauge

Has anybody tried an electric oil pressure gauge instead of a mechanical? (screw a sender into the adapter instead of the hose)

I am running one. U have to ground the sender so u can't just run it into the port. I used a flexible stainless hose from the oil port to the sender & attached the sender to the frame so it would be grounded. Plus having it stick into the port is dangerous IMHO as it could break off

I have a SAGA v.5 electronic stepper motoer gauge which works fine.

There was no need in this installation to ground the sender though.

Like RaginMain I too too used flexible hose to mount the sender (at the rear side of the clutch cover)
