My original rear shock was done and I found EMC from my mechanic. They build rear shocks and front forks for the Gen 2. I just got installed the rear one (Shock 2) and I am impressed with the performance. Transaction was smooth and they arrived from France in less than a week already configured based on my weight and riding style.

Interesting, I was looking for front suspension upgrade options; this is what I got from EMC last week about their fork cartridge for the Gen 2: "The cartridge is an assembly (hydraulic and spring) that replaces the Yamaha factory system, it slips inside the original fork tubes, it will give you the same improvement on your fork bringing your bike to a perfect balance. You will be able to adjust it like the rear shock." They will have stock before end of the year at $690.

True......but anything sold is strictly middle of the road. For the 140 lb rider, and 2 up 350 lb. Aftermarket cartridges are set up for YOUR weight.
I interpreted the comment wrong...sounded like you meant the forks had damper rods. I'm wondering if using a heavier fork oil would help. It would be a little less work & lot less $$$.

I'm really surprised anybody is making suspension stuff for the bike. Still aggravates me that the only fork springs we can get get come from one manufacturer & it doesn't include 2017-2020 models.
