The wife and I would like to say this get-to-gather in Eureka Springs was the best bike event we've ridden in one very long time. It was great meeting so many other Vmax enthusiasts (too numerous to mention, even IF I could remember names worth sh*t). With the exception of the one little cornering incident with Jeff, (I think), the day couldn't have been more perfect for triple digit riding in the Ozark mountains. Thanks to all that made us welcome at your gathering.

Yours truely,

Jim and Shala Feagins from Neosho, MO

It was a fantastic day and great turnout. Always fun to meet up with new people too. I finally was able to get to try out the new 09 for a couple of miles. I really need to put some more seat time in one before I make any real decisions but it was fun.

WOW, That was the most fun ride I have had in a long time! I can't wait for the next one! It was too bad, what happened to Jeff and all, but over all it was a great trip!

To all that were there, sorry about the smoke (and the armadillo!), but it does give me an idea:

HOW HARD WOULD IT BE TO PUT AN OIL INJECTOR INTO THE EXHAUST?

I could see a use for a James Bond - style SMOKESCREEN!

Hey Sean, Krystal said to tell you that she kept the faith! No rain on us! LOL

I have never seen that much smoke in one puff come from ANY engine without first having blown at least one oil ring!

We, at the back of the pack, thought surely someone had blown up completely.

If you could replicate that manuver, and at the right time.......yep, it would come in handy at times.

Too funny.:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

we also had a blast. glad we had good weather for a change
i posted up a link in the photo section to a mess of pics we took. most road pics i took on the fly or over my shoulder.

what did you guys that went think of the hotel this year?
Good, bad, ok?
i thought it was not bad and the price was the cheapest that we have ever been since i have been going the last 3 years or so.
If anyone has another recomendation post up.
What can we do to make the rally better?
Oh and Shannon does not get to pick the restaraunt next year:)

The hotel was nice. Price was good. I should have tried the hot tub, but a pool would have been nice, too. I would have no problem going back there again. (Although, maybe we could talk them into letting us use that big garage! LOL)

I can't comment on the motel since we took our own with us, but I could recommend a restaurant just back up the street towards the historical district called the Forest Hills Restaurant. They have a buffet, or order from their menu including wood fired pizza. They are reasonably priced with plenty of seating. Shala and I have eaten there many times, and if you know me, you know that I would never eat some place and leave hungry and ever go back again. LOL

Many, many other fine restaurants in and around Eureka Springs, some located out west of town on US 62 hwy.

remind me of this place next year and we can try that.
I liked the balcony restaraunt downtown also but we have been there twice so a new place is good.
