Years ago, I was in Kalamazoo MI on MI Ave in the downtown area. A cop on a H-D pulled up to me and told me he was thinking of writing me up for no mirror (defective/missing equipment).
I said nothing, and pointed to my dentist's mirror which was hose-clamped to the crossbar. The light changed, and I left the cop fuming at the light. He didn't try to chase me down and I didn't slow down to allow him to catch me. He could have if he wanted, but I think the bakery had a fresh batch just out of the oven or something. :rofl_200:
