The Connie has the "K-Pass" ignition, proximity key. The Kawasaki stealership will probably charge a grand for the replacement. When you buy the bike new you also get a plastic "wallet key" that can be used if you lose the FOB. Many people make the mistake of putting the FOB in the left cubbie which I believe locks when you start the bike, effectively "locking your keys in the car", then the battery dies on the FOB and your stuck without the plastic key.Looks pretty-clean, a non-runner, too-much for my blood. The title holder should be able to order a key from the dealer. At the least, you need to see if it turns-over and has compression. 25K miles is pretty-low.
