Pulled the winter cover off finaly. I charged the battery and drained the fuel. Just a short ride around the block and to the gas station.

Man, that felt good. Got me thinking again, what to do to the bike this year. Last year was exhaust, stage 7, and new luggage. I also tired some drag bars and was dissapointed. Probably should have used some risers for those as the mount angle was not quite right...

Anyway, just wanted to try the new board, Thanks!

Mine has "Harley dribble" right now, leaving a little puddle of oil where ever I park. Really have to find out where that mystery leak is before the weather gets really nice.

My Max is still in the barn... Darn.
It's starting to get nice up here too (In Wash.). BUT I still have to fix that pulsing brake problem and test ride it first.

Also Just wanted to check our new Msg board. This looks cewl! Now all we got to do is get everybody to join up.

I'm also trying out the file attachment capability. 39k limit... Hmm I'll never get a 1024x768 to fit in that!

Also, I thought the attached files (pictures) were supposed to show up in the message? Didn't I do it right?

Ok, I'm outa here

Jon

Hi JCS!

I'll look at the file attachment size and adjust it as that is one of the default settings that I haven't worked on yet. If you want a picture to appear in your post, you have to host it somewhere, like Photobucket.com It is a free place to host your pictures, then you can use the URL of you pircture to make it appear.

the first ride of the season is often the best one in my opinion.

I've been riding mine all winter (dry roads)and live in Ohio. Froze my ass off but still had a smile on my face. :D Nothing like the Max.

Took Mine out last week it was great! Spent most of the week on the YZF600R though, still nice to get out and ride, of course would'nt you know it snowing again this morning! Living in this area sure has it setbacks for riding bikes!!!!

Glad to see this new board, hopefully those on the list will bring the conversation over here now as well.

I doubt they will beat a path over here. On Yahoo they have a hirarchy established and they might be afraid of loosing some of that here.

I basically rode mine all winter too. The longest I went without a ride was aobut 3 weeks. Froze my ass off a little too. I rode into work one day and it was 24 degrees when I left:Waldo:

Far be it from me to rub my 50 degree winter weather in anybody's nose ;) . Here in Georgia my first ride was on maybe the 2nd or 3rd of January... I suppose I'll be singing a different tune in August. The mosquito is our State Bird...

I just stopped ridding the sled last week! It's time to go get the bike and put the Doo to bed until December. The roads still are covered in sand and salt so I'm waiting for the rain to clean things up.

What is this concept you speal of???

First Ride of the Season??? How do you even pronounce that???

It was 75 degrees in Austin yesterday.... we ride all year long!!!

Bwahahahahahaaaa!!!!

:rocket bike:

There is still two feet of snow on the ground around here, and two months more of winter to go. That is, if we are lucky and we get April showers to melt the remaining bits of snow. Come on global warming! :whistlin:
