Fork brace 1996 Vmax

Has anyone ever tried fitting 85-92 fork brace (aftermarket super brace) on the bigger 93-08 forks ? Didn’t know if they are just so far off there’s no chance it will fit or not. I’m also looking for one for my 96’ Vmax in the parts section

The newer brace is narrower and with a superbrace you could in theory machine the new profile BUT, the bolt holes would be elongated since there isn't enough difference to machine all of the old holes away. Basically, not a practical solution. Potentially you could weld up the hole locations, then remachine them. All way more time in it then simply making another if you have that amount of maching capability available to you already.
