Fried clutch plates.. what do you think caused it?

I may have a PCW HD spring on hand ($75). It's about a 20% increase in holding power vs 100% with the DD mod.
The stock bore is 76mm vs 85mm for a 1500 engine
PCW had some setbacks this last few years but getting back up and running now.
For sure this is an interference engine! If it gets out of time it WILL hit the valves.

The Barnett pressure plate alone probably costs more-than replacing your OEM friction discs and getting the PCW heavy-duty diaphragm spring.

But it does look nice on my bike.

(Also swapped the normal Barnett springs that came with it, for the the Barnett heavy duty springs.)

I used 3 hd springs and 3 of the normal ones with the Barnett . Works perfect.

Exactly what I did on my CBX for the current clutch. Good compromise.
