Fuel capacity

What amazes me is after years of derogatory feedback on the Gen 1's tank capacity, you would think the geniuses at Yamaha would equip the later models of Gen 1s (or at least the Gen 2s) with a bigger tank! :bang head:

Mine was running super crappy, partially due to Stage I jet kit, wasting gas (obviously) because I would barely get 80 miles before the light came on and I always wished the tank was like a gallon larger but seeing how much that mod costs, nay nay.

Mmmmmm.....the old P-51 Mustangs used drop tanks on both wings to increase their range....
