fuel miles

i seem to get 30 miles to gal. running the bike hard or on interstate. kerker, stage7, k&ns, dyna.

MY BIKE HAS STOCK CARBS ( STOCK JETTING ) A K&N FILTER & DELKEVIC SLIP-ONS , YESTERDAY GOING 60 -80 MPH ON THE INTERSTATES , I WAS GETTING 44.25 MILES A GALLON ! ... unk:... IF I'M ******* AROUND & GOING THROUGH TOWNS , THATS ANYWHERE FROM 20 - 30 MPG ! ... :confused2:

the real problem i have is when i get on my max i seem to play with it a bit more than if i am on my roadstar. the same thing happens to my rear tire. you don't have to smoke tires to wear them out. a lot of hard shifting and getting on it wears it out too. oh well you must pay to play.

At what speed?

@ 70 or lower, I get good MPG

@ 85 (my average) it gets worse.

@ 100+ it sucks juice in like a thirsty camel.

normall - 35 mpg (which is a lot of 80 mph commuting and then around town)

this weekend tho i was doing between 80 -90 for a tank and got around 38.7 mpg. thats pretty damn good i think...

Stage 7 / Kerker 4-2-1 w.2" baffle:

Easy highway = 35mpg

Average commute with daily burst = 27mpg

Acting in a rebellious manner = 17mpg.
