1994 jeep wrangler with 74000 mile's on a 4.0. Nothing has been touched just the way i like it. Needs radiator and all coolant hoses and all tune up part's everything is oem. I will start with that and than put a small lift and maybe some dynapro 32x11.5x15

That looks to be in very nice shape. And, No mileage really at all....

I am a firm believer that Wranglers, 33's are the standard.

Granted I dont have one. *sigh*

To keep hp i feel the 32x11.50x15 is best.

I've got the dynapro MTs on my Tacoma in 31s, have ha a good experience with them for sure.

Lots to do still

A 2000 is what i wanted to buy for $5000 but a 2000 jeep with low miles cost alot more. I got the 1994 with 74000 on it for $4500 and i have $5000 into it. I still need to put about $2000 more into it (soft top,4 inch lift, tires). cant wait to take it up north and do some off roading and some beach crawling.

4.0 is a bullet proof engine. MY 4TH Jeep will have one too. The first 2 were drivers when I sold um. I've towed many times and the Jeep never gave me a problem. 200k is not unusual, 300k is common.I just went over 180k on my 96 G.C. and noticed the timing chain could use some attention. It burns no oil, so it deserves a chain kit. I'd love to see one turbo-ed. 6 qts. every 2.5k with filter and basic maintenance is all I ever did on any of them.

I would love to see the look on my wifes face if i could find a way to get the front wheels off the ground. Silver lake sand dunes might help.........Mike

Sounds like a fun project Mike, you should have fun on trails and the dunes of Silver Lake. Give me a ring if you ever get up this way with so we can do some wheelin'. I only have 4x4 truck but it does ok, I can just watch when your playing in the deep sand or mudholes.
One thing though, don't get caught on Lake Superiors beaches. They have DNR w/ ATV/ 4x4's/ planes and then there is the Border Patrol with their boats/ 4x4's/ helicopters, and lastly there is the County Sheriffs running atv/ utv's. They seem to take extra time watching the beaches for illegal activities, apparently there is a bunch of illegal alien crossings from Canada.

under the hood is almost done.

Brian i will call you when we get up that way. Maybe we can go from your town to manistique or big bay by trail. Maybe copper harbor.

Nice score on rims and tire's. We found a set of 5 brand new Rubicon rims and 32" bfg mt tire's. The dealer changed them out before she left with her brand new rubicon and she sold them to us for $1100.
