With the bias ply up front it felt 'heavy' plus I think it will re-introduce the wobble, but it sure is cheaper than a new front wheel. Something to think on.

Maybe You mixed the sport and tournig tyres?
Diffrent compounds are also not a good idea..

sorry when i had both bias ply. never rode with mixed tires except quickly to troubleshoot my creak. both bias ply were tourmaster (shinko)
 
my 2 cents about the radials. From personal experience said:

I don't know any professional road racer, tuner , tire changer, or mfg. that recommends mixing radials & bias - ply. If it's a myth , it's a myth I beleive in , especially when I'm leaning into a curve or nailing the brakes.
 
Yes, I was always hearing the same.
I was also with this theory back in the days.
But no one ever replied for the main question:
"Why?"

Finaly, when I've tried on my own skin I changed my mind.
Bealive me, is was very sticky ride with NP.

I think its more depandable with rubber compound, not mixing the tourning and sport tyres I guess.
