The vmax gauge lights are type 74 miniature bulbs. Two in the speedometer and one each for the temp and tach. The above store has 74x, 74-xhp (brighter) and 74-xhp3(brightest....what you want)
If you can find pink it'd probably be fine, but purple LEDs are the dimmest color....even using all HP3s you may find the gauges too dim to read.
I originally used 74x in the speedo, a HP for the tach and a hp3 in the temp....the speedo was still kind of dim. Later put HP3s everywhere, much better results (that was with red ones).
