Gen 1 bike cover size

Going down to the OBX next week and like to cover my bike for the trip as it will be on an open trailer.
Any info on what size to get and possibly make sure it stays on! LOL!

Very bad idea to use a standard motorcycle cover on a bike being trailered. The cover will beat the piss out of the bike and damage the paint.

The only cover I would recommend would be something like this: http://www.gezagear.com/towingcare.htm or something called a "Gator Cover".
