Looking for a rear shock assembly for a 2010 Vmax. Part # 2S3-22210-00-00. According to Yamaha, there is not a rebuild kit available. Also according to Yamaha it shows 09-16 is the same and that there isn't one available in the states. (2 in Japan) Anyone know of or have a used one available? Trying used route first. New one from Yamaha runs about 1300.00+ Thanks in advance.

Partzilla.com? Usually if they don’t have in stock they will machine shop whatever you need or is that too complicated for making outside of OEM from manufactures quality?

I’m curious about it🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't think Partzilla 'makes' anything and I highly doubt they're going to machine a rear shock for anyone if they can't source one. They're a mediocre parts vendor, at best.

Ok maybe I should rephrase it… I have had stuff on back order they didn’t have ready in stock but get it when supplier for the distributor could make it? Like a piston they told me was on back order…
