Good Service Manual

just bought a paper dealer service manual off ebay, isnt the cd like most, got it from eggmac217, gives you everything you need for $20.00, and that includes shipping. wanted something so when i get into the guts of my max id have something to refer to. just some info. if you dont want to drop $50 or $60 on a manual

I got the service manual from a link on the web for free. PDF and then printed it. LOTS of pages though, would probably have been cheaper buying the $20 version.

When I ripped into my motor this past winter, I ended up buying the Clymer's Vmax manual. That, along with the Yamaha service manual, seemed to cover everything you need to know to get the bike up and running again.

I am amazed by how poor the Yamaha manual is... It may be because it is old as dirt and was written before computers were mainstream but it is the hardest manual to navigate IMHO...

I would love to try a Clymer...
