OK, so 2 things happened here. First of all I posted a video that wasn't what I thought it was (mistaken identity of a Gen 2). Secondly, Jedi did not appreciate the reckless riding of the bikers in the video. So I took the link down.

Here is another video that fits the title. A Gen 2 beating a much lighter and equally powerful bike at the strip. I know th guy in the video from another forum. He regularly runs in the 9.6 sec range on his VMax which is only lightly modded.
