Hello im new here and not sure what im doing but i am replacing the stator and was hoping someone could tell me where this washer goes.

It sits right on top of the bolt put the stator cover back on and pull just the insert off and it sits in there with the lip facing in.
Thank you very much. Another question, why does the return throttle cable have 2 balls on it? I only see one place to hook it up at...
Only the one hooks up I am not exactly sure why they put 2.

Ok put it together started it up charges good but there is a buzzing sound and a vibration you can feel when you touch that outer cover. Any idea what that could be?
Update i disconnected the rectifier regulator and the noise went away. Any ideas?

Could also be something loose in the generator/stator area.....there are magnetic forces and rotation.
If you decide to get a new R/R, look on here for MOSFET R/R's, using the search function.
