PATMAX, the blue and white wire we were referring to was the single wire to the solenoid which plugs in right by the battery.
PATMAX, alorio1 is correct. To bore you with more details, entertain the following: The blue/white wire connects to the start switch/button. It provides the Ground to the starter solenoid when you press the starter switch/button. With the start button/switch in, current flows through the solenoid causing it to complete the positive connection between the battery and starter motor.Here I sit on the sidelines and hear of another success story. What was the Blue and white wire? Or what is it's function? Glad to hear it was a simple fix. Mine should be so simple.
