The Marks systems I've seen (older ones) tie the same sides 1-2, 3-4; together through the collector, plus having a crossover after the collector.

The older UFO system I have ties 1-4 together and 3-2 together, making it a diagonal tie in. Has no crossover after the collector.

it's very common for light loads and the initial hit on the dyno to show almost off the chart lean. That's part of what helps to get your economy.
