Help: Wrong Venture differential?

Hi guys,

I assume that this Venture's differential does not fit into my VMAX, so I guess the original it's not even worth disassembling?

Pinion gear joint seems strange vs. repair manual. Am I right?

You just remove your complete housing and install that complete venture housing .

Ok, so do a search here were Sean posts the best year(s) Venture, Star Yamaha diff to use.
Check with he or Kyle for availability.
Next stop is ebay, for what your doing is the cheapest way to go.

They're a piece of cake to rebuild but get on ebay they're just about giving them away. Just be careful to take a good look at the pictures but if you get burnt you can return it with no grief. That way you don't have to deal with any leaches trying to rip you off.
