CUSTOM 426 HEMI BIKE

This is not a Boss Hoss ! This is a one off custom 426 Chrysler Hemi motorcycle. It is street driven and draws an unbelievable crowd wherever it goes. Not another one like this on the planet. 2 speed automatic with reverse. The motor is not a crate motor. Eagle crank and rods,Ross pistons and alluminum chrysler heads etc. True 600 HP plus 200 on the nitrous. Bike has won several prestigious awards for engineering and show quality. I engineered and built the bike so I would be happy to answer any questions. $120,000.00

It certainly is a cruiser epitome in the design. I ask this: with its cross-section, do you really think it could do 200 mph and still be on the ground? I would say that as speeds approached >160 mph, the pilot would find it extremely hard to control. I am not a mechanical engineer. I am not a aerodynamicist. I do have a belief that the shape would make this very hard to control at 150+ mph. Yes, a cool design, using the 1960's "Hemi" from Chrysler, I recall when it came-out, and before that it was the 392 c.i. Hemi. I just don't think the person who operates it would be able to control it at those speeds-200 mph? A Hyabusa has far better aero style, and can't break 200 stock, so how-could this 'barn-door' do it, regardless of its h.p.?

Ah, what's it matter, a cool bike, I'd like to see it run hard, and show what it can do. He should get someone to sponsor the bodywork to make it have a chance to far-exceed 200.

It's probably never been ridden hard. Probably a garage queen. Ugly as sin too.

Torque!

See the pair of instruments? The shape of the bike reminds me of a big-boned gal w/'B'-cups & a huge butt. Something you might have seen R. Crumb draw...:biglaugh:

I can not think of what it would be like to be sitting on that and cracking the throttle. The torque must almost turn the bike upside down. Back in the day, I remember racing against a guy that had a setup like this. His was a 392, but same idea. He could hardly get it down the strip because the torque made the bike want to roll over so bad. He came back the next year with the engine mounted sidewinder style. Even with ear plugs I can't see riding that thing any where.

That said, nice build even if not my style.

One of those bikes done just for the hell of it, "because you can". Was certainly never intended for high speeds or performance. Built purely for posing with and to get attention.

No way in hell it'd ever come even remotely close to 200mph. Yeah, in theory with the rear tire in the air.

I suspect the issue of aerodynamics would prevent that bike from being ridden much past 120 or so, if for no other reason the rider would literally be blown off the bike. The riding position looks like it'd have you stretched out in perfect "sail" position.

That is exactly what it is and it's still awesome because it's a hemi engine in a motorcycle. It's excessive and stupid and it's still awesome.

EJ Potter used a sidewinder GM V8 for his dragbike. Sadly, he is gone now.

I think its sickly awesome in a complete excess.

As for using that power??

Try searching for quarter mile time for a boss hoss. They can't use that power either.

Boss Hoss admits to low 10's

I still think they're awesome tho! But too impractical to own unless I was loaded and buying toys to ride once a year or something.

I'd rather have that other "bike" that was made from a dodge engine. the "bike" had that 4 wheel set up.....nonetheless another death trap....or a Jay Leno museum piece...

I'd like to see a Vmax boat engine on a bike,,,,that would be something...
