That filter is 40 micron if I read the specs. Is that fine enough for your injectors? I used a 10 micron because what I found online is that that`s required.
Good question! I just thought that if the filter is taken from the fuel injected engine it would work ok in this application also.

Hi!

Damn, I didn't even think that the pressure regulator could also be integrated into the tank unit 😅! Going to use the same Honda VFR throttle bodies as you do. Not decided the intake manifold style yet. As low as possible would be the best option if I need some space to the pressure housing somewhere in the future.
Some can be, but I also have an external one :).

And it probably will, I think there`s also tiny fuel filters in the injectors themselves. However what I read is 10 micron is preferred. I also have the original fuel filter still in-line to get out the big particles.

Some differential work. Pinon gear had too much side play but I get into conclusion that the main bearing had just wrong preload. We will see that.

Threat or opportunity? The small ends of the originals were too bad condition to use, so let's try these after the workshop check.

Friday night and some ”headache”. First I had to manufacture tool small enough to get the lawnmover size valves out. Next thing is to find (cheap) bigger valves to work with. Toyota is on the target.

Straight enough (under 0.01mm) for the punishment.

Bigger valves? That sounds interesting! Woudn't that also need the seats and valve guids to be replaced? Very cool mod, I`ll be following your progess closesly.

Hi,

That Toyota valve stem is only 0.1mm larger than Yamaha’s so I think that just reamin the guide a bit bigger should do it. I also don’t think that seats need to be chanced - just resurfaced

Hi,

Yeah, I was thinking +1mm bigger valves both I & E. That specific Toyota valve stem is only 0.1mm larger than Yamaha’s so I think that just reaming the guide a bit bigger should do it. I also don’t think that the valve seats needs to be changed - just grind again. Challenge is the lenght and can that valve lock groove be machined into right place. Valve seal have to re-think also. BUT I’m not professional machinist so I consult my friend after I get the spares and then I’m hopefully a bit wiser. I’ll keep you informed.

I don't know how high quality these actually are, so I ended up ordering ”original” ARP bolts. Just in case.
