Howdy everyone from hot and humid Orlando, Florida. I am a new Vmax owner, and wanted to share my ride, and also my gratitude towards this forum. I am not going to bore you with a long story, I'll just say that I got bit by the Vmax bug about fifteen years ago, and was finally able to ride my own just last week. I got the bike you see below about 5 years ago, and this forum played a big part in getting it back on the road. It is a 92, with about 30k miles. It needed a lot work, and pretty much everything except the engine and the gearbox had to be either replaced or repaired. My goal was to get the bike good/safe enough to ride, not win concours d'elegance. While working on the bike, I was lucky enough to find a Kerker 4into1 which sounds amazing. The bike still has, what I presume, are the stock jets and seems to run fine (plugs look good). The bike is not by any means "done", but since time and finances seem to always be scarace, it will remain in this state for a bit. In the near future I hope to check and adjust the valves, and change the valve cover gaskets. As far as mods, I am hoping to fit a 17 inch wheel on the back, and probably get Sean Morleys muscle jet kit.
Again, I want to thank the members of this forum for sharing their knowledge, which helps people like me keep the legend that is the Vmax, on the road.
Also, I attempted to make a donation from the main page, but paypal page never loaded. I'll try again on a different device, but maybe the admins can look into it.

Ride safe all.

Looks decent, a 'streetfighter.' Welcome. Any pics along the way of anything you have accomplished on it?

Thank you. I havent really taken any pictures since pretty much all of the repairs I did are pretty well documented here.
When I sealed my tank, I used a product called Red-Kote and am planning to do a write up on it, after an year or so of use.

The few pictures that I have are from my LED brake light. I wanted to utilize the the area where the reflector is mounted under the grab rail. I found a couple of LED lights that fit in the space. Created a super simple bracket from thin sheet metal I had laying around. And mounted the lights to it. I bent the metal so it sorta lays on the seat and then painted the visible part of the bracket black. It works for now, it is not the pretiest of mods but it does the job. Cool thing about those LEDs is that they have a built in resistor, since they are a tail light and brake light, and the LED turn signals I installed dont hyper flash.

Here's a cleaner LED conversion we offer on the rear (and possibly the brightest light out there - Running and Brake)
