think we all understand that the bike should not be running when you check it, just incase.

Probably wrong oil letting the clutch slip? There are some anti friction additives that some oils use that may allow for clutch slippage... Bad friction plates?

FYI the oil level at the clutch case is always very low, almost residual. You cannot check a thing by getting a probe on it. I have a clearview window and i can only see oil when i lean to the right while riding...

Hey i changed the oil and it sarted acting normal again, do you think that was the problem or should i change the clutch plates too?

Yeah also looks like there is no oil filter i have the service manual in hand and ordered new filter and i dont see and filter installed...i know where it should be and its not there...just and end cap...is this normal? Why would sombody do this to the bike? keep in mind i just bought it a month ago.

If you saved the oil, you should get some cheese cloth and strain the oil and look for anything unusual, like metal partical, friction plate (clutch plate) particles. Take it for a good ride and see what happens. What kind of oil did you replace old oil with ?

Well i actually just added a bit to wait for the filter in the mail...but im emptying it in a minute...also...no oil filter at all...just a hole...i wish i saw this earlier...very amateur of me...this may very well be the problem..onc i drain the oil ill strain it and check for pieces

So i didnt think that this was an engine symptom but my temp gauge wasnt working...put new oil in her and clutch works fine and the engine temp gauge started working...sounds silly but an opil change is all she needed it seems....makes me feel pretty stupid but like i said i just bought it and the guy said he recently changed the oil...not sure what to think..

The oil circuit has nothing to do with the water temp sensor/temp gauge... Thats a sensor mounted under the right scoop. Don't know what to say... Maybe a bad contact...
