I owned an '07 CBR1000RR for about a year that I bought as a repo' 'til I sold it for $3200 more than I paid for it & that would obliterate a Vmax. No contest. Throw a 200lb. passenger on the Honda & it still has a 40+HP advantage.

Was this an older (late 80's) CBR1000 possibly?

I launched in second and watched him pull the front up as I went by. Sport bikes are powerfull and fast but its dificult to go forward hard through a wheelie. He cought on the second race, but I was done for the day.
